Principal's Message

Welcome to St Michael’s Primary school Stanmore.  Our school motto ‘TOGETHER’ proclaims us as a community – priest, teachers, parents, children and parish- who strive to support each other in sharing, celebrating and living our Catholic faith, beliefs and values.

At St Michael’s we aim to provide a comprehensive balanced curriculum that engages students in quality learning experiencesacross the six mandated key learning areas and Religious Education.  Our experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic staff develop programs to cater for the diverse needs of our students.  Students are also supported in their learning by specialist teachers in Reading Recovery, Special Needs, ESL, Library, Sport and Music.  We endeavour to ensure that each of our students develops a love of learning, a thirst for knowledge, a healthy self esteem, a respect for others and a desire to know and follow their God.

Our parents and friends are a valued and vital part of our school community as they work in partnership with the teachers to support all aspects of their child’s development – academic, social, emotional, physical and spiritual.

St Michael’s is a welcoming community who look to the future with hope and enthusiasm.
